Christmas Dessert Gifts: Cupcake Bouquets, Dipped Strawberries and Cocoa Cups

Edible gifts are some of the easiest Christmas presents to get right. Almost everyone enjoys something sweet, a dessert gift does not need a size or a color preference, and it does not end up in a closet. For teachers, coworkers, neighbors and the relative who has everything, a cupcake bouquet or a box of dipped strawberries says thank you without much fuss.
This guide rounds up the Strixly Cupcakes treats that work best as Christmas gifts, how to match a gift to the person and when to order for Christmas 2026, which falls on Friday, December 25.
Why Give a Dessert Gift at Christmas?
Dessert gifts are personal, quick to give and enjoyed right away. They also work for groups, because one box can be shared in a break room or by a whole family.
A made-to-order treat feels different from something grabbed off a store shelf. You can choose the colors, add a name or a message, and pick flavors the person loves. Because our treats are made to order, you can also time the gift for the day you plan to hand it over.
Cupcake Bouquets: Flowers You Can Eat
A cupcake bouquet is the showstopper gift on our menu. Cupcakes are piped to look like roses and arranged like a bouquet, so the gift looks like flowers and tastes like dessert.
- The Bouquet in a Box comes in a gift box with a card and envelope included.
- The Floral Bouquet arranges seven cupcakes like a bouquet of roses.
Red and white, green and gold, or all white with silver accents all look festive for Christmas. Bouquets are best for one household or a small office team. Our cupcake bouquet guide has more gift ideas for every occasion.
Gift Boxes With Sparkling Juice
For a celebration-style gift, pair treats with a bottle. Our gift boxes combine cupcakes and dipped strawberries with sparkling juice or a non-alcoholic sparkling drink, which makes them suitable for family members of any age.
- The Welch's Sparkling Juice Box includes 12 dipped strawberries, 6 Strixly cupcakes and a bottle of Welch's Sparkling Juice in red, white or rosé grape.
- The Non-Alcoholic Stella Rose Box includes 3 gourmet cupcakes, 12 decorated strawberries, silk roses and a bottle of non-alcoholic Stella of your choice.
These are lovely for parents, grandparents, a couple hosting Christmas dinner or a coworker who does not drink alcohol.
Hot Cocoa Bomb Cups for Cozy Gifts
Hot cocoa bomb cups are one of the most fun stocking stuffers and small gifts. They are chocolate cups filled with cocoa mix, marshmallows and sprinkles; you set one in a mug, pour hot milk over it and watch it melt open.
They are a good fit for teachers, kids, neighbors and anyone who loves a warm drink on a cold evening. Bundle a few with a mug for a simple, thoughtful present. Our guide to hot cocoa bomb cups explains how to use them and how to keep them fresh.
Dipped Strawberries for Hosts and Neighbors
Chocolate dipped strawberries are an elegant gift for a host or a neighbor. A half dozen or a dozen in a box looks special, and you can choose milk or white chocolate, a splash of color or a holiday design.
- White chocolate dipped strawberries
- Milk chocolate dipped strawberries
- Themed strawberries decorated to match a theme
Strawberries are perishable, so give them the day you pick them up or the next day, and tell the recipient to keep them in the refrigerator. See how to store chocolate-covered strawberries.
Matching the Gift to the Person
The easiest way to choose is to think about how the gift will be enjoyed: shared, kept for one person, or saved for later.
| Who it is for | Good gift | Why it works |
|---|---|---|
| Teacher or school staff | Hot cocoa bomb cups or a half dozen cupcakes | Easy to take home, no slicing needed |
| Office team | A dozen cupcakes or a party package | Shareable in a break room |
| Parents or grandparents | Welch's Sparkling Juice Box | Feels like a celebration |
| Dad, brother or a sports fan | Toolbox gift or team hat box | Fun presentation he can keep |
| Someone who avoids sugar | Sugar-free cupcakes or sugar-free strawberries | Thoughtful and inclusive |
For gifts aimed at the men in your life, see our dessert gift boxes for him. If someone on your list avoids sugar, our sugar-free cupcakes are worth a look.

Christmas Gift Questions
What is a good Christmas gift for a teacher?
Hot cocoa bomb cups and a half dozen cupcakes are easy favorites, because they are simple to carry home and need no slicing. Add a short handwritten note, and check whether your school has any guidelines about gifts or food allergies before you order.
Can I add a name or message to a dessert gift?
Yes. Bouquets in a box include a card and envelope, and many treats can be decorated in the colors or theme you choose. Tell us the name, message and colors when you send your order request, and we will confirm what is possible.
How long do dessert gifts stay fresh?
Plan to give dipped strawberries and anything with cream cheese or cheesecake within a day of pickup and keep them refrigerated. Cupcakes are best within a day or two, and hot cocoa bomb cups keep longer in a cool, dry place away from heat.
